One of the objectives of Sezam is collecting, what else, shiny things! For normal mode this is perfectly optional cherry on top; we wouldn’t like to spoil the experience with any undue pressure. In the grown-up mode, the bar is set higher: all have to be collected for the exit to be revealed.
For an untrained eye Columns may appear to be a simple game with complexity of noughts and crosses, but getting a good score involves a bit of thinking.
Yet again, updated version is out. We’ve been releasing updates few times a week, quietly hoping it won’t annoy any of the users too much. Hopefully, this one is the release that will be with us for a longer while.
While coding the game we debated briefly on how to have the algorithm score the points. Seven in a row was promptly deemed impossible or very unlikely. No, in fairness, we don’t expect anyone to get it, so in the next release we’ll increase the score for this combination to some preposterous … say … […]
